The tennis program at the Lodge at Ventana Canyon tennis facility is managed by Peter Burwash International (PBI), the world's foremost tennis management company. PBI has successfully directed tennis programs at some of the world's finest tennis clubs and resorts for over 30 years. PBI professionals are renown for providing first class service, high-quality tennis instruction, and many other exciting on-court programs.

Scott Anders – PBI Director of Tennis

Scott, a native of Texas, brings a unique combination of tennis and business experience to the program. He is a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) with the highest coaching certification (P1) and has worked at many of PBI's worldwide destinations, with most of his time spent in Puerto Rico. As a coach, Scott has trained and worked with players of all abilities including those with national rankings as well as professional players who participated on Puerto Rico's Fed Cup, Davis Cup, and Olympic teams.

Eric Gessner – PBI Head Tennis Professional 

 

Eric has been a professional with PBI since 1996. During his ten-year career he has gained experience teaching a wide variety of students in first-class tennis facilities in California, Texas, Hong Kong, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and now in Arizona. Eric is originally from Michigan, and his success there as a junior tennis player led to a scholarship at Eastern Michigan University, where he played #1 singles and doubles and studied communications. Eric has built on his success as a junior player in his coaching, enjoying equally the opportunity work with tournament calibre players or those just learning the sport.
