• Eco-Friendly Products: We have transitioned to compostable and recyclable paper products and replaced plastic golf tees with compostable alternatives.
• Recycling Initiatives:
  • Kitchen recycling: We recycle used cooking oil from our kitchens.
  • Golf ball recovery: To reduce waste, lost golf balls are recovered by professional divers from our lake adjacent to Mountain #4, and Ventana Canyon staff and volunteers regularly collect golf balls from the desert terrain along the fairways and greens.
• Sustainable Purchasing: We prioritize environmentally friendly products, including recycled paper, cutlery made from plant starch, straws from agave, plastic cups from recycled plastic, and options such as eco-friendly coffee pods for lodge guests.
